mRNA-FCAR (CD89) is an in vitro transcribed (IVT) messenger RNA encoding the Fc alpha receptor (FCAR/CD89), the primary receptor for IgA antibodies that mediates phagocytosis, antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), and inflammatory responses in myeloid cells. This synthetic mRNA enables controlled expression of CD89 for research in mucosal immunity, bacterial/viral pathogenesis (e.g., Streptococcus pneumoniae, HIV), and development of IgA-based immunotherapies targeting CD89+ immune cells in cancers and autoimmune diseases.
