Product Overview

mRNA-CLEC4C is an in vitro transcribed (IVT) messenger RNA encoding the C-type lectin domain family 4 member C (CLEC4C, also known as BDCA-2 or CD303), a plasmacytoid dendritic cell (pDC)-specific receptor that negatively regulates type I interferon production through FcεRγ-coupled signaling. This synthetic mRNA enables controlled expression of CLEC4C for research in autoimmune disease mechanisms (e.g., lupus erythematosus), antiviral immunity modulation, and development of CLEC4C-targeted therapies to either suppress pathogenic IFN-α production (in autoimmunity) or enhance pDC-mediated antitumor responses.
